Assembly and Test Technician

Charter Engineering Inc. has a great opportunity for an Assembly and Test Technician to join our production team.
We are a manufacturer of coaxial switches for the commercial, aerospace, and defense industries for more than 20 years.
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of assembly and testing. This position will report to the Production Manager. The position is full time and on site at our facility in Pinellas Park, FL.

Preferred Qualifactions:

• • Associate degree or two-years formal education in a technical field.
  • Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and tackle challenges.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, honesty, and strong work ethic.
  • Motivated junior candidate applications welcome.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• • Prior production assembly and or test environment (preferred not required).
  • Ability to understand electrical and mechanical schematics a plus.
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD a plus.
  • Prior experience with wireless test and measurement equipment including network analyzers a plus.

Pay: $14 – $17 an hour DOE
