Electromechanical Switch Engineer

Charter Engineering Inc. has a great opportunity for an RF Electromechanical Switch Engineer with a background in RF and Microwave design. We are a manufacturer of coaxial switches for the commercial, aerospace, and defense industries for more than 20 years. The position is for a full time on site engineer located in Pinellas Park, FL.

Preferred Qualifactions:

• • Bachelor’s degree or MSEE in Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in RF Electromechanical Switch design .
  • Ability and dedication to understand and engineer our products.
  • Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and tackle engineering challenges.
  • Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, honesty, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to build and maintain critical customer engineering support.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• • Knowledge in RF engineering
  • Knowledge in Mechanical engineering.
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD.
  • Experience in RF Electromechanical Switch design and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with wireless test and measurement equipment including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and oscilloscopes.
  • Knowledge in circuit board design.
