RF Switch Configurator
Complete each step to select the RF Switches for your application.
Note: All model combinations may not be available. Please visit our Product Page for more information.
More than one switch series will require a repeat of the process.
Configure Your CEI RF Switch
Select an option at each step. Any step with only one valid choice is selected automatically and skipped. If you use Back and want to keep the existing selection, click Continue. Compatible CEI series are filtered in the background, and all matching part numbers are shown in the results.
Switch Type
Select the RF switch configuration by number of RF positions/throws. Terminated choices indicate that unused RF ports are terminated.
Connector
Select the RF connector. This choice is used with Switch Type to narrow the compatible CEI series in the background.
Frequency
Choose the required RF operating bandwidth. Only frequencies supported by at least one remaining compatible CEI series are shown.
Actuator Type
Choose how the electromechanical actuator behaves when control power is applied or removed.
Voltage
Select the nominal DC actuator voltage.
TTL Logic Option
TTL logic allows logic-level control of the switch. Select this before Common Polarity so the configurator can automatically skip polarity when TTL control is used. Incompatible extended-temperature combinations are disabled automatically.
Common Polarity
Select which side of the DC actuator power supply is connected to the common actuator connection. If your system switches +Vdc to the individual control lines, choose Negative (-) or Return Vdc Common. If your system switches the DC return/negative side, choose Positive (+) Common. This step is automatically skipped when TTL Logic is selected or when polarity is otherwise not required for the selected series/actuator.
Suppression Diode Option
A suppression diode reduces the inductive voltage transient generated by the actuator coil when power is removed.
Indicator Option
Indicator contacts/circuitry provide electrical feedback of the RF switch position.
Power Interface
Choose how actuator power and control signals connect to the switch.
Intermodulation Option
IMPORTANT: For most applications, select Standard Switch (typical). The -110 dBc, -130 dBc, and -160 dBc choices are special low-PIM options and should only be selected when your application specifically requires that intermodulation performance.
Special Options
Choose an environmental/high-power connector option. Incompatible combinations are disabled automatically.
